Vacaville Homestay Program is a safe and affordable housing for international students with a friendly American family where the student can practice English language, cultural exchange, and learn American values during shared time with their host.
The students become part of your family.
The host family provides room and board including daily meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner). The host family will assist their students with daily school transportation.
The Host Family receives a daily or monthly stipend.
Summer/Winter Camp
Students will have daily morning classes in English, learning: American - culture, art, values, song/dance, holidays, foods, etc. In the afternoon students will have American activities : sports, movie, museum, library tour, Police Dept. tour, etc. There will be special excursions to San Francisco, Sacramento, Candy factory, etc.
The students will have an opportunity to join and visit an American school and even have a class immersion with American students.
We will have a Closing Ceremony and Farewell Party with their host families. The students will receive a certificate signed by the American School’s Principal and/or city Government Official.
Evenings and weekends are free activity time to spend with host family.
Sharing time with host siblings
School Year Program
Students will go to Public or Private schools in our area. The International student can graduate and receive US high school diploma from high school here.
The students can participate and join extra curriculum at school such as sports club, cheerleading, math club, science club, etc. Also they can participate and join volunteer programs for youth groups and with our local community.
